Karen Dove is a transcendental artist based in Dallas, Texas.
She is interested in translating automatic drawing into color, line, symmetry, and cohesion. Her drawings reflect her inner state, her relationship with the outer world, and are an attempt to make peace with it all (if not make sense of it all). She works in tempera, acrylic, watercolor, ink, colored pencil, and oil pastel.
